Gameplay

As your Heart levels up, you will be awarded Attribute Points (AP) that you can spend to increase 4 Attributes. The decisions you make will allow you to adapt your playstyle as you see fit.


Increasing Your Attributes

Upon leveling up, you will receive Attribute Points (AP) that can be used to raise the levels of your ATTRIBUTES. This is done via the YOU screen, accessible from the MAIN MENU. The max amount of AP you can spend into any given Attribute is 99 Points, and all Attributes begin at a base level of 15.

When you raise your Attributes and SAVE them from the YOU screen, you will not be able to decrease them to spend those AP elsewhere unless you have acquired a RESET TOKEN.


HEALTH

The HEALTH Attribute increases your Heart's total Health Points (HP) and Fling pool. As you level up, Monsters and their abilities will begin to hit you harder so it is important not to neglect this Attribute too much.

This Attribute also adds Flings to your Fling pool which will become more important in Sectors and Elite Sectors in the later game that do not offer unlimited Flings. If you run out of Health Points (HP) or Flings, it will be GAME OVER!

When you use the LIFE REVO, some damage inflicted on Monsters and Bosses are returned to your Heart as HP.

There are several LUSIONS which provide buffs to your total HP Pool, HP Regeneration, Healing power from both the LIFE REVO and falling HEALTH BOOSTS. There are also LUSIONS which add to your Fling Pool.


POWER

The POWER Attribute does one thing, and does it well: Increases your REVO damage output!

Damage is king in phobium, and even though you may be tempted to, it is not wise to put all your eggs in one basket. Loading all of your AP into POWER will allow for significant gains in damage-per second (DPS) but at the cost of a much lower HP pool for your Heart and longer cooldowns on your REVOS because of a lack of AP put into HEALTH and SPEED, respectively.

When you use the LOVE REVO, some damage inflicted on Monsters and Bosses are returned to your Heart as HP.

The POWER BOOST, which will fall from the top of the Sector, will increase damage two-fold if acquired and activated for a short period of time.

REVOS have varying levels of direct damage impact, and these damage levels with scale universally across all REVOS depending on both your Heart's overall level, and the POWER Attribute.


SPEED

The SPEED Attribute has two functions: It reduces the cooldowns of all of your REVOS universally, and increases the rate at which you EVADE monster attacks.

While having a higher POWER level will no doubt increase damage, there will be situations where being able to Fling REVOS at a faster pace will prove to be more beneficial. REVOS with longer cooldowns, such as the LIFE REVO are most affected by SPEED since it has a longer cooldown and provides your Heart healing which can help a lot in the more chaotic Sectors.

There will also be times in those chaotic Sectors that some Monsters may be unavoidable, in which case being able to EVADE them will drastically increase your odds of survival.

SPEED has no effect on the velocity of your REVOS when flung.


LUCK

The LUCK Attribute has three purposes which all have random chances of happening. The first benefit is increased LOOT DROPS. When a Monster is killed, a higher LUCK Attribute will increase the frequency of random loot drops. It has no effect on the quality of loot dropped (i.e. RARE, LEGENDARY, etc).

A higher LUCK Attribute also affects your damage output by giving you an increased chance of landing Critical Hits which inflict double damage over a regular hit from any REVO.

Finally, with more LUCK you will see the mysterious FIGMENT float across the Sector more often which can be tapped for a random loot drop.

LUCK is perhaps the most versatile Attribute, offering increased DPS by way of Critical Hits and access to more ORBS, LUSIONS, and REVERIES which will aid your quest through all Sectors in many different ways.
