REVOS are your weapons of choice within Sectors. There are multiple REVOS you can choose to be part of your LOADOUT (4 at a time), and they each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
REVOS are your weapons, and you will eventually have six to choose from. You Fling REVOS at Monsters and Raid Bosses to cause damage and kill them, allowing you to progress through Sectors, collect loot, and level up. Each REVO has its own unique ability, cooldown, and base damage.
Individual REVOS will rank up based on getting the killing blow on any Monster or Raid Boss. When a REVO ranks up, it will gain additional bonuses to make itself more lethal. These are passive effects.
Eventually, you will find REVERIES from loot drops, and these are attachments for your REVOS that give it more bonuses or different physical characteristics (i.e. a GHOST! REVERIE will allow your REVO to pass through Monsters instead of bounce off of them).
Five REVOS are unlocked for use initially, with the sixth REVO (PLAGUE) being unlocked after all initial REVOS have reached RANK 5.
You can bring 4 REVOS at a time with you into any Sector and they cannot be changed or swapped out from within a Sector. You can change both the position of your REVOS in your Action Bar at the bottom of your screen and choose the REVOS you want from the YOU screen, accessible from the Main Menu.
In the YOU screen, information about all REVOS will be accessible such as their cooldowns, abilities, and Ranked powers and the kills required to reach each respective Rank.
If you have looted any REVERIES, these are applied from the second screen of the GEAR screen.
Some of your Attributes affect how REVOS perform in Sectors. The POWER Attribute allows for REVOS to do more base damage, the SPEED Attribute reduces all REVO cooldowns, and the LUCK Attribute increases their chance to land Critical Hits.
When a Monster becomes affected by the status effect of a REVO, such as the ACID REVO, FROST REVO, FIRE REVO, or PLAGUE REVO, they will emit circular graphics to signify what is ailing them.
The ACID REVO does relatively low damage directly, but makes up for it with its unique corrosive ability. The base cooldown for the REVO is also among the lowest of all the REVOS, meaning you can fling it much more often.

When contacting an enemy, lowers its Armor Level substantially, allowing all REVOS to do increased damage against that target.
The FROST REVO does moderate damage and has a low cooldown time. It will slow enemies down and also cause their attacks to slow down as well (i.e. Projectile-firing monsters will fire less frequently).
REVO is unlocked for use.

When contacting an enemy, they move slower and perform their attacks at lower frequencies. This effect is canceled by contact from the FIRE REVO.
The FIRE REVO does the highest direct damage of all REVOS, and also applies a Damage Over Time effect for even more DPS. Its cooldown is not that high either, making it one of the most capable damage-dealing REVOS available.

When contacting an enemy, they light on fire which causes Damage Over Time. This effect is canceled by the FROST REVO.
The LOVE REVO is useful in most situations because it heals your Heart whenever it makes contact with an enemy. The base damage is also in the top tier of damage-dealing REVOS, but is balanced from its cooldown which is the highest versus all other REVOS.

When contacting an enemy, a portion of the damage is returned to your Heart as Health Points.
The SHOCK REVO does above average damage directly, but also does damage against nearby monsters when it makes contact, doing a deceptively large amount of DPS. It has one of the highest cooldowns of all REVOS.

When contacting an enemy, nearby enemies are shocked with Area of Effect damage.
The PLAGUE REVO is a locked REVO that becomes available after ranking all other REVOS up to RANK 5. It applies a Damage Over Time effect to enemies hit and monsters will spread that DoT to other monsters they make contact with. Its cooldown and damage are both right in the middle of their respective scales.
REVO is unlocked for use.
Cooldown is reduced by 1 Second.
INFECT damages more frequently.
