Everything in phobium is based off of Combat, and it is an important skill to master to get the best times and loot.
When your Heart loads into a sector, your interface consists of 4 REVOS that will be locked in for the battle within the Sector. Each REVO has its own cooldown timer, and they are all different. Cooldown timers are affected by your Heart's SPEED Attribute.
To fling a REVO, simply place your thumb or finger on the spinning REVO and flick it upwards. When you are aiming it, an arrow will display on screen showing which way your REVO will travel. You can angle the REVO just how you like within the bottom half of the screen. Uf you stretch too far, the arrow will turn RED, indicating a disqualified fling. If you have Game Tips enabled in your SETTINGS, a thin line will appear in the middle of the screen showing the bounds of your fling.
Your Heart is what you must protect from monsters, bosses, and environmental effects. Depending on the Sector, you can either Slide Your Heart left and right at the bottom of the screen, or Move Your Heart all around the Sector.
The Health Points (HP) of your Heart is dictated by the amount of Attribute Points (AP) you've spent on your HEALTH Attribute. This amount is shown right above your REVO Loadout in-game. When you take damage, the amount of damage taken will pop-up from the bottom of the screen and float up. If you have Vibration enabled in your SETTINGS, your device will also vibrate.
The SPEED Attribute. will also increase the chances of your Heart evading monster melee and ranged attacks. When this occurs, an "EVADE" pop-up will float from the bottom of the screen.
Depending on the Sector, you will either have an Unlimited amount of flings you can make with your REVOS, or a Limited amount. The amount of remaining flings or amount of flings taken (depending on the Sector) will be displayed on the bottom left of your UI.
In Sectors with Limited Flings, BOOSTS will include a Boost that will provide additional flings to be taken. The value of your HEALTH Attribute. will also provide you with additional flings in the Sectors marked Limited Flings.
When you run out of flings in Limited Fling Sectors, the game is over.
When a REVO makes contact with a Monster or Boss, a Combo Point will be added to the UI on the left side. The more Combo Points accumulated in a given time will add Damage Modifiers to all of your REVOS, causing significantly increased damage.
When a REVO makes contact with a wall (bottom, left, or right side) all Combo Points are reset.
When a REVO initially spawns in, it will be engulfed in a glowing mist. If you fling that REVO while it's in that mist you will gain an additional Combo Point and also empower it to do increased damage until it escapes from the top of the Sector.
